The door handle is inserted through the square. For front door locks, this is usually 10 mm thick.
The designation of the punching is included in the article name. For front door locks, it is usually PZ or PWZ.
For interior doors, there are also bit key BB, oval locks OB, or WC locks WC.
To correctly combine all components of a door, it is important to consider the following features:
PZ = Profile cylinder, for entrance door or apartment door | DIN left: You stand in front of the door, which opens towards you. If the door hinges are on the left, it is referred to as DIN left. |
BB = Bit key, for room door with bit key | |
OB = Oval punching, for room door with bit key | DIN right: You stand in front of the door, which opens towards you. If the door hinges are on the right, it is referred to as DIN right. |
WC = with lever and slot, for bathroom or WC door |
